Terms and Conditions

 

·        Promoter: Football League Limited (The), EFL House, 10 - 12 West Cliff, Preston, Lancashire, England, PR1 8HU (EFL)

 

·       Eligibility: Entry to the Promotion is limited to one per person and is open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) aged 18 years and over, except employees and families of the Promoter and its affiliate companies, agencies and anyone professionally connected with the promotion (including those working for Wasserman).

 

·       Promotional Period: entries to the Promotion shall open at 17:01 BST on 19th December 2024 (Opening Time) and close at 23:59 GMT on 21st February 2025 (Closing Time). Following the end of the Promotional Period, no other entries will be permitted.

 

·        Entry Instructions: The promotion is four (4) quiz questions with those who answer all of those quiz questions being entered into a prize draw (Prize Draw). All entrants who complete the quiz questions will be entered into the Prize Draw regardless of whether such quiz questions are answered correctly or not. Entry is free entry via the Entry Route set out below. All entrants must complete the entry form hosted on https://eflprizedraws.co.uk/carabao_cup_quiz/landing and answer the quiz questions during the Promotional Period (providing all necessary information requested) to be entered into the prize draw to win a Prize (Entry Route). Those who complete the Entry Route will receive one entry into the Prize Draw. In respect of the Entry Route, we will not accept:

                                                                                                

  • entries submitted after the relevant Promotional Period;

  •    entries that are only partially completed; or

  •   entries sent in through agents, other websites or through any means which intends to deceive or manipulate fair process such as through any automated or ‘bot’ entry process or through the creation of multiple accounts.

 

Each entrant may only complete the Entry Route once (i.e. one entry to both per person). The EFL has the right to disqualify any entry by an individual where that individual has made multiple entries into the Entry Route where any entry made does not comply with these terms and conditions.

 

·                Prizes: the Prizes for the Prize Draw are:

  • Winner Prize: the Winner shall win two (2) general admission tickets to the Carabao Cup Final 2025 on 16 March 2025 (Match Tickets).

  • Runner Up Prizes: five (5) Runner Ups will be drawn and each Runner Up will win a Carabao Bundle (which will include a PUMA Orbita 1Carabao Cup Football  and a Case of Carabao SPORT (12 bottles).

 

Note – you and your guest must be home supporters of the Club that you select to watch using the Match Tickets. Match Tickets are subject to availability and no guarantees can be given that the Match Tickets will be available for: i) a particular Club; and/or ii) that the match you select will go ahead on the date and/or time above. The event organizer/EFL may reschedule any match without notice and without liability whatsoever to you.

 

·        Winner and Runner Up Selection: all successful/valid entries who complete the Entry Route before the end of the Promotional Period will be entered into the Prize Draw which shall take place after the end of the Promotional Period. Winners and Runners Up will be selected as follows:

 

  • Winner: the Promoter shall firstly draw one (1) name using the randomized computer process who shall be deemed the winner (Winner) and the Winner Prize will be allocated to the Winner.

  • Runner Up: the Promoter shall then draw five (5) names using the randomized computer process (after the Winner has been selected) and these persons shall be deemed the Runner Ups. The Runner Up Prizes shall provided to each Runner Up.

 

·        A member of the Promoter’s verification team or a nominated third party (on behalf of the Promoter) will get in touch with the each of the Winners/Runner Up via email in order to verify their age, identity and collect their address details (which you acknowledge may be used to deliver the Prize you have won) within a reasonable time of the Prize Draw being completed (no later than 7 days after the Prize Draw). Winners of the Match Tickets must provide their name, date of birth, email address, home address (including post code) and supporting team. You acknowledge and accept that in this promotion, the EFL may provide your personal details to Wasserman (the EFL’s nominated third party for operating this prize promotion) for the purpose of Wasserman conducting the verification process set out above. Should the Winner/Runner Up fail to respond to the Promoter’s/Wasserman’s (as the case may be) notification within 48 hours of receipt, the Promoter has the right to shall be deemed that the Winner/Runner Up has forfeited its Prize and the Promoter shall select an alternative winner/runner up using the same process as was used to select the original winner/runner up. Where a Winner/Runner Up fails to verify their age or is underage, they will be automatically disqualified from this promotion and the Promoter will select a new winner of the relevant Prize Draw by using the same process as was used to select the original Winner/Runner Up. Note – if the Winner fails to respond within 48 hours, the name drawn second out of the Prize Draw shall be deemed the Winner (instead of a Runner Up) and an additional Runner Up will be selected. This process shall be followed sequentially if Runner Ups fail to respond.

 

·        Entrance into the Prize Draw will be deemed to constitute your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

 

·        The Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash or other prizes. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any of the Prizes (or any part of the Prizes) for one of its choosing which has a value the same or greater than the original Prize (or the part of the Prize replaced), in the event of circumstances outside its control making the Prize unavailable (Right Of Substitution). The Prizes may be subject to availability and change where expressly stated.

 

·        The EFL and any relevant Club (where hosting the Winner in its end) will be notified of the identity of the Winner and their guest(s), and databases will be checked against any Club Banning Orders, as well as the National Police Database for those who may be subject to a Court Banning Order. Any persons found subject to a club or court banning order are not eligible to enter this competition or claim any of the Match Tickets.  If the Winner’s guest(s) is subject to a club banning order or court banning order then they are not eligible for the Match Tickets, and the Winner will need to identify a different guest(s) to use this part of the Prize.

 

·       Your entry (including winning entries) may be disqualified if we have good reason to believe you have broken these terms and conditions or if you or your selected guest acts in a way towards the EFL, the EFL Clubs, any of the EFL’s commercial partners, any other person entering the draw or EFL or EFL Club staff, which we reasonably consider to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive. If any winning/runner up entry is disqualified we may redraw any Prize and award it to another person following the same process set out in these terms.

·       Any personal data relating to entrants will be kept securely and used solely for the purposes of administering this promotion and/or Prize fulfillment by the Promoter and/or by any agent of the Promoter appointed to assist with running the promotion or administering the Prize (including Wasserman and/or any Club (where necessary)). Further information about the EFL’s use of personal data generally can be found in the EFL privacy notice at  https://www.efl.com/efl-privacy-notice/. Use of your personal information will not include sending you electronic marketing communications unless you have opted in to receive such communications (and you are free to unsubscribe from these communications at any time in the future). Note - you must bring this privacy notice to the attention of any guest(s) you may nominate and you agree that you will do this prior to providing any personal information of your guests to the EFL.

 

·       If a Winner and/or their guest(s) has any special accessibility requirements in order to use the Match Tickets, the Winner will need to make the Promoter aware of this as soon as the Winner has won the Prize.

 

·       The Winner of any of the Match Tickets must comply with any reasonable instructions, additional terms and rules of conduct set out by any Club, venue host/operator (including operators/hosts of training ground or football stadium) or event organiser (EFL) (including, amongst other things any terms of issue associated applicable ground regulations (which shall be the Wembley Stadium Ground Regulations for the Match Tickets), any ticketing terms and conditions and other policies applicable to visitors at the venue or event. The Promoter and/or event organiser/operator (including without limitation any EFL Clubs and/or stadium/venue operators) reserves the right to refuse entry and/or require the Winner and/or their guest(s) to leave the venue should the Winner or guest(s) not comply with these  instructions, terms, rules or policies, any applicable law or regulation or other reasonable directions of the Promoter or event organiser/operator, or because of winners or guest(s) inappropriate behavior. The Winner is responsible for the behavior of themselves and their guest(s) whilst using the Match Tickets. The Promoter accepts no responsibility if the Winner and/or the Winner's guests are denied entry or asked to leave the match for failure to abide by such terms, any applicable law or regulation or because of their inappropriate behaviour. For the avoidance of doubt, entrance to this competition constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions and all terms and conditions of the Football League Limited Conditions of Issue as well as the Wembley National Stadium Ground Regulations (which can be found here: www.efl.com/ticketconditions).

 

·       The Winnerof any of the Match Tickets will be bound by any additional terms and rules of conduct set out by the relevant Club, venue host (including training ground) or event organiser (EFL) (including, amongst other things any terms of issue associated applicable ground regulations (which shall be the Wembley Stadium Ground Regulations for the Match Tickets), any ticketing terms and conditions and other policies applicable to visitors at the venue or event. Entrance to this competition constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions and all terms and conditions of the Football League Limited Conditions of Issue as well as the Wembley National Stadium Ground Regulations (which can be found here: www.efl.com/ticketconditions). The Promoter and/or event organiser/operator (including EFL Clubs) reserves the right to refuse entry and/or require the Winner and/or their guest(s) to leave the venue or refuse entry should the Winner or guest(s) not comply with these terms, rules or policies, any applicable law or regulation or other reasonable directions or the promoter or event organiser/operator, or because of winners or guest(s) inappropriate behavior. The Winner is responsible for the behavior of themselves and their guest(s) whilst using the Match Tickets. The Promoter accepts no responsibility if the Winner and/or the Winner's guests are denied entry or asked to leave the match for failure to abide by such terms, any applicable law or regulation or because of their inappropriate behaviour.

 

 

·       The Winner’s chosen guests must use the Match Tickets. Name changes are not permitted in respect of the Match Tickets, unless expressly agreed in writing (at the sole discretion of the EFL) on a case by case basis.

 

·       The Match Tickets do not include any other facilities of expenses whatsoever, such as (by way of example and all of which are the responsibility of the Winner and/or their guest(s)) the following:

 

  • travel to or from the venues and associated charges;

  • accommodation;

  • travel insurance;

  • tips, gratuities, room service, drinks or meals; and

  • any other costs associated with the trip.

 

·       Insofar as permitted by law, the EFL, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner/Runner Up or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize (except for personal injury or death caused by the negligence of the EFL, its agents or distributors). Your statutory rights are not affected. The EFL is not liable for any business losses incurred by entrants. 

 

·       The Winner/Runner Ups may be asked to have photographs taken or participate in filming, editorials for press or promotion purposes of the EFL, and/or their group companies. These together with the Winner’s and each Runner Up’s name may be published.

 

·       Match Tickets will be available for collection for match day collection from Wembley Stadium. The Winner must provide photo ID or the Match Tickets will not be released.

 

·       Notwithstanding any other terms and conditions set out in these terms and conditions (including the Football League Limited Conditions of Issue as well as the relevant Ground Regulations in force at the venue), no refunds or any other monetary compensation will be paid in relation to any Match Ticket where any match is rescheduled, postponed, delayed or cancelled (for whatever reason).

 

·       Under no circumstances can any Prize be transferred to a third party of sold for any financial amount.

·       Subject to applicable law, the name and county of the Winner and each Runner Up will be available by sending a written request to: Commercial Department, EFL, Fourth Floor, Fifty Paddington, 50 Eastbourne Terrace London W2 6LGEFL. Entrants agree their name and county may be disclosed for this purpose.

 

·       These terms and conditions are governed by English law and the Winner agrees that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of these terms and conditions.
